Hi, I’m Meagan!

For the past ten years, I’ve been photographing in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, capturing the beauty, chaos, and love that make life so special. With a Type A streak and a huge personality, I bring equal parts organization and fun to every session—and I promise we’ll share plenty of laughs along the way!

My husband is my rock, my number one fan, and, let’s be honest, the MVP of Meagan Nelson Photography. If you spot him at a session, he’s probably carrying props, just got done chauffeuring me around, or holding my Dr. Pepper. Together, we’re raising two incredible kids who are talented, busy, and keep us on our toes. Being a mom has taught me just how fleeting time is, and it’s what drives my passion for capturing life’s most meaningful moments.

• I love Christmas a lot. In my house, the day after Halloween is officially "Christmas 1st." We dive headfirst into the magic of the season and believe in it wholeheartedly.
