i have had the honor of photographing the Clay family for the past 3 years. each session better than the one before, we shoot minis and we shoot full sessions. Lisa is so creative, and I love that she embraces exactly WHO her kids are, and lets her sessions just flow organically. Sessions with this tribe always end up being some of my favorites.

i actually shot these in september, but you know.. christmas card season came, and i am just now getting around to blogging/sharing some of my favorite sessions from last year. I still have sessions from spring that i need to share, and i promise im working on getting them blogged!

the day of their session, it was gorgeous -bright and sunny, then while driving.. the biggest, greyest clouds rolled in. i told lisa we could cancel if she’d rather wait for sunshine, she wanted to move forward and truck along. im so glad. her family pictures at the end of the session with those epic storm clouds ended up being some of my favorite family pictures that ive taken. doesn’t hurt that they’re a gorgeous family who rocks their wardrobe.
